Android Developer
MDS Amiba is looking for an experienced Android Designer to join us in our North Dublin office and work on our cutting edge Android app. You will join a small and focused team committed to delivering quality features. You will work closely with product managers and developers to deliver solutions to delight our customers using the latest Android and iOS features and technologies.
Responsibilities
As a designer, you will deliver a best-in-class user experience for our Android app. You will help shape new features and produce high quality designs using the Google Material design framework. You will present design concepts to the team to demonstrate interactive elements and user flows, and will work to deliver customer-centric features within a fast paced environment.
Desired experience and background
1+ years of experience as a native Android designer
Experience of Java, Android SDK and Android Studio
Knowledge of Linux
Strong UI and UX skills (experience with native and mobile UI/UX design is a plus)
Be comfortable with coding in HTML and styling elements using CSS
Capable of working in an agile, informal environment
Be eager to learn new skills and collaborate with others to deliver high quality designs
